Built on a solid 925 sterling silver core. Choose sterling silver, or 14K gold vermeil — a thick layer of real 14K gold over that same sterling silver, not the cheap brass plating that turns skin green. Hypoallergenic and comfortable for everyday wear. (Solid 14K gold — coming soon.)

How to personalize:

1. Photo: Upload one clear photo of your pet in the personalization section. If you can't upload it there, simply reply to your order confirmation email with the photo.
2. Name: In the personalization box, write the name like this: Name: Romeo (up to about 12 characters).

Photo tips: Pick a bright, in-focus photo with your pet looking toward the camera and the whole head in the frame — ears included. Phone photos are perfect, and we remove the background for you. Then choose color, length and chain style.

Choose your chain: Cable (delicate and classic), Figaro (Italian-inspired link), Box (sleek and sturdy), Curb (bold, flat links — shown in the photos) or Paperclip (modern and trend-forward). Each chain has its own fixed price. 18" is our most popular length for portrait pendants.

Upload it in the personalization section when you order. If that's not possible, reply to your order confirmation email with the photo and we'll match it to your order.

Which animals can you engrave?
Dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, birds and more — if the face is clear in the photo, we can engrave it.

What makes a good photo?
A bright, in-focus shot with your pet facing the camera and the whole head visible, including the ears. Avoid dark, blurry or far-away photos.

Do I need to remove the background?
No — our designers remove the background and prepare the portrait for engraving.

Do you have a version for remembering a pet who has passed?

What is gold vermeil, and is it better than gold-plated?
Gold vermeil is a thick layer of real 14K gold over solid 925 sterling silver. Gold-plated jewelry usually has a much thinner layer over brass or other base metals, so vermeil lasts longer and is kinder to sensitive skin.

How long does delivery take?
Each necklace is made to order in 1–3 business days after we receive your photo, then ships in 2–5 business days within the US. Express shipping is available.
